Brotherly Love
Those more astute among you have probably figured out by now that this is Liam’s brother Nathan who took on my challenge already and brought his brother into the fold. After all who wouldn’t want to share the gift of immortality with their loved one? Their resemblance is a strong one as you can see but they are actually quite different. I just hope they are different enough that Liam won’t go blindly following after his brother again. Why? Just listen.
“Hey you’re looking good Little Brother.”
“Yeah but what’s with the pad crashing. Not that I mind Nate but, you know its kind of sudden.”
“I have no choice. Don’t you read the papers? Even though I live in Sunset Valley I thought sure that what happened would be mentioned in the paper here.”
“Well I’ve been kind of busy to read anything…”
“Well my house burned completely down! I barely got out alive with the kids!”
“How the plumbob did that happen?”
“Well Stanley’s mom, that’s the baby, his mom was a Firefighter but it turned out she was a pyromaniac and she set fire to the house last night when we were all in bed. She ran off and the authorities are looking for her.”
“Seriously?”
“Seriously! It’s like all of a sudden my luck started to go bad and then it just kept getting worse! I don’t know if I can go on like this… I mean with the challenge.”
“Come on and sit down! You can’t mean that! Who am I supposed to rub it in to when I finish it?”
“I’d rather we both quit and stay alive.”
“Come on you must be joking Nate! I’m not giving up on immortality. You shouldn’t either.”
“No I give up. I thought I could last it out because of the prize but I just can’t. It was hard enough to stand all the diapers and the drool but then when things started to go crazy I can’t. It started out small and then it just kept getting worse. I swear its like the simverse wanted me to quit. I concede to you and just hope you give up before it’s too late for you too.”
Nathan you disappoint me. Letting my dear brother-in-law get to you after only 20 is such a disgrace. I just hope Liam is stronger than you’ve proven to be. If not stronger then I hope he’s more determined.

Well Nathan’s stay is finally coming to an end. His ‘night or two’ turned into nearly a month so I’m glad he’s finally going back to Sunset Valley. I don’t say that because I didn’t like having him around for a while but he was so insistent that I stop the challenge.
The kids really get along with their cousins though.
They’re good kids too. Niki and Shelley always got straight to work on their homework when they go home from school.
My girls helped them with their grades a bit. Plus Shelley was so close in age to the twins they got along really well.
Bernard didn’t spend as much time playing with his cousins as he did reading though. Not that he is antisocial.
Nathan, on the other hand, was sort of disappointing. I know he didn’t like kids much but he watched television more than he interacted with his kids. It kind of made me feel bad.
Anyway, when I watched him go I was glad, it was nice to just have the house just to the family again. Not to mention it will make it easier for me to start getting some more babies started.

Here we are with yet another update on Liam’s household. I thought you’d be bored with days on end of children’s games and so I’ve left some out. Instead I’ve jumped ahead to another day with the kids aging up again.
Seth has been surprisingly quiet lately. The magical gnome dog doesn’t seem to be impressed by hungry Anubis.
Now let’s catch up with the family a bit. There have been a few birthdays since we saw them last.
Here is Amber now a Young Adult.
Anisse is also a Young Adult.
Bernard is a Teen.
Teen Alberto.
Belle is also now a lovely child.
I understand that you might also be interested in seeing how Belle’s brothers turned out.
This is Suede.
This is Shade.
Liam should be proud they are turning out very nicely.
Now that we have that over with we can return to the rituals of the passage of youth into adulthood.
So now two more are moving out of the nest.
This means there are more hugs.
There are more goodbyes.
There are two more children setting off into the world on their own.
Though I must say Amber did it in a little more style than her sister.
After the parting of the ways life went on as usual.
Scamp scratched his post.
IQ played with his ball.
Belle amused herself in the sand box.
The Free twins appear to be developing hobbys.
Alberto actually likes spending time with Anubis and this has sparked an interest in plants.
Bernard still likes to read but his tastes have expanded to reading the rudimentary skill manuals in the bookcase.
What is Liam up to?
“Yeah Holly I think you got a right to be mad he’s spending so much time at the office. That’s why I’m just writing when I can it lets me be with the family.”
You can afford to be lax with me helping with your bills. Besides this isn’t the best of things to be doing. Listening to a wife complain about their husband can only create problems and with Seth out there scheming he doesn’t need to add available fuel to the fire.
“Sure. Of course I’m down for your party. It will be nice to get out of the house and away from the kids for an evening.”
I suppose a night out wouldn’t be out-of-order for him but somehow I have a bad feeling about this.

/ July 17, 2012Enjoyed your update and nice that Liam had some time to spend with his brother. Sometimes just living life as it was meant to be is enough for some people in the Sim world. If it was Holly Greenwood who invited him to a party, I can pretty well guess what’s on Liam’s agenda. Careful though I think she has mean streak in her.

I’ve hoped to portray him as a likable jerk, a “jerk charming” if you will, who unfortunately brings about a lot of the drama and problems down onto his head. I hope you all enjoy the up-coming drama as he certainly won’t. lol.
